Spines (Ex) Each round, a spinagon can pluck a spine from its body and hurl it as a standard action. this is a ranged attack with a range of 60 feet and no range increment. These spines regrow automatically each round. The spines, in addition to damage dealt, stick inside their targets and cause constant pain. And creature that takes damage from a spinagon’s spine attack must succeed on a DC 13 Fortitude save of take a -2 penalty to AC and a -10 foot penalty to speed of all forms. These penalties last for 1 minute or until the target receives healing of any kind. This ability does not stack with itself. The save DC is Constitution based.
